Welcome to A Swift Escape, a family-run glamping retreat set in the heart of the Essex countryside. In 2021, we purchased our home, which included a small yurt business. From there, we began enhancing the yurt experience, adding thoughtful touches and features to make it a truly unique and luxurious escape for our guests.

 

In 2024, we decided to expand our glamping offerings by introducing a luxury shepherd hut. This spacious and private accommodation was designed to provide the perfect retreat for couples, blending modern comforts with the serenity of the countryside. With both the yurt and shepherd hut, our site offers a peaceful escape for anyone seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

 

Looking to the future, we’re excited about plans to grow even further, potentially adding another accommodation to our site. As a family, we’re passionate about creating memorable glamping experiences, and we’re proud of the progress we’ve made so far.
